David Hornik started working for August Capital in 2000 and has funded a broad set of companies, amongst them Six Apart, VideoEgg, Paycycle and Splunk. Despite the economic downturn, August Capital will be raising a new fund and is looking for smart teams with interesting technology developments. David, who is also lecturer at Stanford University and Harvard Law School finds „business a very personal thing. He says: „At August Capital we are much more likely to fund a team than a technology.
